Large Update

New Features Update - v0.4.0

Another huge update with new features, changes in the game code and massive fixes. Thank you for your patience and we hope that we meet your expectations.

Certainly some of you noticed the changes in our roadmap. They come very often because we add ideas on a regular basis, but unfortunately we also have to remove or move some content to the next update.

Gameplay Improvement

  • Dispatcher AI improved (part 2).

  • Now no minimum career points to spend.

  • Big fires (e.g. in a forest) made more difficult, their frequency changed by 10%, they can now even be in two places at once, the reward for the completed fire is higher.

  • The infrastructure in Facilities DLC is more expensive.

  • The properties of some events changed and now there will be one event at a time.

  • We raised initial funds by 30%.

  • The firefighters extinguish slower without water in the tank.

  • Fires were made difficult. The fire department is slower to extinguish them, so more firefighters are needed.

  • We raised the prices for robots, dogs and dispatchers.

  • Raised the income.

  • We raised salaries for employees.

  • We have added new incident categories to the statistics. This will help us improve the current objectives and events. It is not a visible change, but without it many options would not make sense.


Events

  • Plague of burglaries added.

  • Fire brigade inspection in buildings added.

  • Evacuation exercises in schools added. 

  • Killed innocent man by a police officer (as many as 8 new e-mails & 2 new dialogue options) added.

  • Firefighting training added.

  • Police protest (no people to hire) added.

  • Mass car theft added.

  • We have brought The Last Duty event back.

  • Corrected the speed measurement event.

  • Added e-mails for the drug mafia event.

  • New e-mails for events (~40).

  • Improving the occurrence of events. Overall improvement.


Equipment & gears

  • Police anti-drug department gear added.

  • Wildland fire gear added.

  • Modern medic gear.

  • Corrected equipment stats (added custom stats and the missing ones).

  • Hired crew members don't have any assigned equipment and costs less.

  • Each equipment has its own use.


Vehicles/units

  • Fire's medical point added.

  • Technical truck added.

  • Modern technical truck added.

  • 4 police cars added.

  • Police laboratory added.

  • Fire car added. 

  • Modern ambulance added.

  • Fire van added.

  • Now some vehicles are functional and helpful in the game.

  • Units improvement (outdated and poor quality vehicles).


Incidents

  • Wrong parked vehicle (traffic offense) added, 

  • Vehicle theft added.

  • Removed the stuck in swamps incident.

  • Improved the fraud incident on older people.

  • The train crash incident improved.

  • Added and updated images of tasks on-site.

  • Increased chance of injuries at the bus crash incident.

  • Deleted bonfire incident due it could spawn in the center city.

  • Corrected the popularity of incidents.


Backup

  • Police helicopter backup option added.

  • Air swat backup option added.

  • Mobile command post backup option added.

  • Military units in backup for The Last Duty DLC (about 5 new options).


Larger protests

  • Larger protests implemented (from Better Riots mod made by Rescue Mod Team). This novelty adds many more protesters at events such as protests or riots. It diversifies the game.


Objectives

  • No medical complaints added. 

  • Standard of tickets.


Unique Searches

  • These are new events that are much more realistic, require a lot more work and bring you double satisfaction after the events are resolved (at least we hope so). So far, we have added two suicides. We know it's not a lot, but it takes a lot of time to create a coherent scenario.


Drug Department

We have made some interesting changes that will add realism to the game, and you will be able to create a special drug department in your city.


Fixes & improvements:

  • Fixed a major bug where events dont appear.

  • Fixed backgrounds for car crashes.

  • Fixed missing text for searching for a woman incident.

  • Fixed suspect note for citizens on-site.

  • Fixed spawning sandstorm event. It's not always on the second duty.

  • Corrected spawning removal event.

  • Corrected mistake in Polish translation (incident description).

  • Fixed stubborn neighbor call.

  • Corrected dialogue lines for mod calls.

  • Fixed missing AAR text on the duty summary.

  • Fixed cops in the convoy attack incident.

  • Fixed cleaning up after a fire task occur during fire fighting instead of after at some incidents.

  • Fixed missing text for gas explosion.

  • Fixed a fire truck could stop a pursuit.
