Seasonal events, special operations, new connections, new types of crew members, almost 30 new equipment, new events and more!

Hello dear community,


We are after a long break! First of all, we'd like to apologize for waiting! However, this was due to learning the game's code, which we changed perfectly to your needs. The update introduces a lot of changes, starting from small fixes to massive changes to the game code. During this long break, we added content that is crucial for us.

Changelog:


Special operations:

This is a huge change, that is, incidents that you need to pay much more attention to! Command special operations and send dozens of police units to real criminals. Specialized anti-terrorist units equipped with lethal weapons are needed from now on. Face the obstacles and overcome the media storm.


  • Added a dispatcher call (appears later in the game). A special operation can happen in many locations, e.g. bank, museum, warehouse, supermarket, club or hotel. There are five types of special operation: raid, hostage rescue, bomb threat, barricaded criminals, active shooters. There may be a different number of wounded, a different number of criminals, in the case of a bombing it may be a small bomb or a large one, and criminals are sometimes well armed and sometimes poorly armed.

  • Common incidents such as bank or jeweler robbery are excluded.


Seasonal events:

How about Christmas, New Year, Halloween, suitable weather and more? Previously, this was only possible in the campaign and now even in the free game. All such events will be cyclical in the appropriate months and days. We made a groundbreaking change to the game code that gives us a lot of possibilities! This mechanic allows to precisely start events with an accuracy of the day. So, for example, New Year's Eve will be on the last shift of the year.


  • Three new events added: Christmas, New Year's Eve, Halloween.

  • Floods now spawn in summer (mostly).

  • Lifeguards are needed on the beach only in summer.

  • Grass arsonist  event spawns only during summer (this is a new event).

  • Added 8 Christmas incidents, including a fight in a shop caused by Christmas decorations, a Christmas tree fire, burglars dressed as Santa Claus. You'll see more for yourself, no spoilers!

  • On Christmas Eve, shops, cinemas and hotels are closed, and the whole preparation for Christmas lasts from the beginning of December!

  • During New Year's Eve there are firework accidents (mostly, but not only), you get special calls! We used most of the incidents from the game because New Year's Eve is in the campaign.

  • With Halloween, expect dark incidents! There are 7 of them in total. Fights at Halloween parties, a clown with a knife, etc!


New types of crew members:

They are new people to hire. However, remember that some of them will appear after a while, not from the beginning of the game!


  • Rescue dog for fire department added. It's perfect for searching.

  • Negotiator added.

  • Experienced counter-terrorist added. Enhanced skills.

  • Police technician added.

  • Sapper added.

  • Detective added.

  • Police medic added. High medical skills.

  • Fire Medic added. High medical skills.

  • Medical helicopter pilot added.

  • Ambulance driver added. Low medical skills, but drives well.

  • Resident added. It's cheaper, but has poor skills.

  • HAZMAT firefighter added.


Equipment:

Most of this equipment was added in connection with special operations, i.e. weapons and accessories for counter-terrorists.


Primary guns:

  • TAC700 added.

  • MK16 added.

  • SA58 added.

  • G36C added.

  • UMP-45 added.

  • MPX added.

  • 870 CQB added.

  • M4 Super 90 added.


Secondary guns:

  • G19 added.

Armor and helmets (mini gears):

  • Light armor added.

  • Light armor + helmet added.

  • Heavy armor + helmet added.

  • Heavy armor + helmet + NVGS added.

  • Heavy armor + helmet + CBRN riot gasmask added.

  • Heavy armor + helmet + anti-flash goggles added.

  • Heavy armor + helmet + ballistic facemask added.


Equipment not related to Special Operations:

  • Police belt added.

  • Medical bag for FD added.

  • Small police shield for riots added.


Improved equipment icons: 

  • Water vest.

  • Automatic resuscitation equipment.

  • Chief vest.

  • Climbing harnesses.


American Units & Hats:

This is a much anticipated opportunity. Now you can manually convert units to US. Follow the instructions in the downloaded mod. Unfortunately, such changes are not adapted to earlier changes in RMT: Fan Expansion, so we still recommend using the default European version.


  • Many units changed and improved. We don't have a full list of changes.

  • New units added.

  • American hats added.


Calls:

We plan to add many more connections. Probably all planned in the next update will appear. We have the vast majority of the calls written, but we need to record the dialogues that take a long time, so we thought it would be better to release the update sooner. All connections are made so that there are as many possible scenarios as possible. This cancels out the repeat effect.


New calls:

  • Chemicals burn (dispatcher call) added.

  • Special Operations (dispatcher call) added.

  • Sandstorm is coming (dispatcher call) added.

  • Escapees from a mental institution (dispatcher call) added.


Improves:

  • Some background sounds in calls are louder.

  • Different emergency number ringing sound.


Chernobyl scenario in beta tests:

This scenario is already available, but in a very cut version. According to our votes by beta testers, you prefer to prioritize other content than the Chernobyl scenario, so it's in the raw version. In future updates, we will refine it and there will be new connections, incidents, etc!


  • The scenario works.

  • The first major incidents appear.

  • Added Soviet vehicles.

  • Approx. 10 incidents added.


Events:

As always, along with events, we add dozens of new e-mails and incidents, because they are the pillar of events.


New events:

  • Attack on a fire station added.

  • Counter Terrorist Agency informs about planned terrorist attack (police needs to arrest terrorist) added.

  • Water poisoning (a very advanced event that lasts many shifts) added.

  • Car wheel thief added.

  • Grass arsonist added.

  • Police trap on a drug dartel added.


Improves:

  • Objective added for the state celebration event.

  • New mail added to the long protests event.

  • Mismatched e-mail removed from the long protests event.


Reinforcements:


  • Light assault group added.

  • Special operation commander added.

  • Heavy assault group added.

  • Heavy assault group added.

  • Special unit added.

  • Sniper added.

  • Light riot crew added.


Incidents:

We have also added other non-event related incidents.


New incidents:

  • No electricity to a respirator in house added.

  • Hit a few people added.


Improves:

  • A truck in the attacking people incident is more difficult for firefighters.

  • Time of some incidents shortened.

  • Some incident reputations improved.

  • Escaping incidents disappear faster.

  • Train accident slightly improved.

  • Opening doors added. 

  • Opening car doors (for crashes) added. 

  • Blocking doors (by a door wedge) added. 

  • Breaking doors added. 

  • Peeping (by a mirror gun) added. 


Game improvements:


  • We have added more POIs to the game, which allows us to create and add incidents in the same place over several shifts.

  • Unlocking all vehicles and equipment takes around 30-40 duties instead of 10-20.

  • We removed the handcuffs from the police's equipment. Now handcuffs are in every police vest or belt.

  • Promotion is harder to get.

  • Team members' promotion salary raised.

  • Translation mistakes corrected.

  • Music changed to soundtrack from 911 Operator.

  • Big fire is 500m2 now.

  • All crew members have new prices.

  • HP is reduced by 30%.

  • Ballistic shields have attack benefits - they now have small pistols.

  • Increased the visible size of a fire from 2,500 m2 to 10,000 m2.


Fixes:


  • The mod is fully compatible with the latest game update. So now all new features work in RMT: Fan Expansion.

  • Fixed an error after launching the game due to the October game update.

  • Fixed incorrectly displayed dialogues in the shot son call.

  • Fixed missing dialogue in the shot son call. Now you can use the options to help or apply the plaster.

  • Fixed missing equipment in the shop.

  • Fixed kidnapped woman event/incident.

  • Fixed "Apartment Check" incident bug. Broken icon and no text.

  • Fixed a heat event. Now the temperatures will actually be high.

  • Fixed bugged-white custom gear icons.

  • Disabled bugged the kidnapped woman incident with no name.

  • Fixed a bug of an injured person in a scooter accident.

  • Fixed a witness bug in interrogating a witness incident.

  • Fixed a bug with HP dropping incorrectly for injured in a firework warehouse fire.

  • Fixed protests ending wrongly in the long protest event.

  • Fixed missing e-mails.

  • Fixed missing text for bus fire.

  • Some connections now also work properly in 9-1-1 countries.

  • Fixed premature email about police workshops.

  • Fixed the drug mafia trap objective.
